9/23 menu plan

Monday:
soup, salad, frittata, or bowls/meal prep monday
surprise trip!!!!!

Tuesday: 
taco tuesday

Wednesday:
fish + fruit + veggies
blackened salmon (or this recipe if you like to use oven like me) (but I use premade blackened seasoning)
hot, blackened salmon + mixed greens + goat cheese + diced apples (or other seasonal fruit) + TJ's candied pecans + balsamic vin + diced red onion (optional)
salad inspiration: this and this
make mason jar salads for lunch with extra salad

  • bake: brownie cookies (PSA: we keep our cookies in the freezer so that 1) we don't have to eat a boatload of cookies by ourselves in a week and 2) Brett likes to have something sweet at night, and this way he has an assortment to choose from)

Thursday:
sandwiches or leftovers
leftover salad + cornbread

Friday:
pizza or pasta
skillet macaroni and cheese (can leftovers be frozen into muffin tins?)
leftover salad

Saturday:
snack dinner saturday
caprese avocado toasts + cheese and crackers + fruit

Sunday:
quick, slow cooker, or instant pot
brunch: old fashioned sour cream coffee cake (double/freeze - see notes at bottom)
dinner: hamburgers + tater tots
