3/30 menu plan

Monday:
meal prep monday 
soup/salad/sandwich
  • loaded broccoli cheese bacon soup 
    • (freeze leftovers - use these containers)
    • see my list of other things I plan to freeze for postpartum
    • omit bacon for personal preferences - only because I hate mushy bacon
    • I used preshredded carrots from Trader Joe's (like, the kind for salads)
    • I used four small potatoes (maybe should have done five) and I used a little less broccoli (but we were low) - then we put the broccoli florets in the food processor and essentially riced them (which we ended up loving the teeny tiny pieces of broccoli, as I detest large broccoli chunks in my soup) - but because of these two things, my soup was not as chunky and thick as hers. still tasted amazing!
  • caesar salad (add in leftover grilled chicken)
  • with rosemary bread (double for freezer)

Tuesday: 
taco-ish tuesday
quesadillas + avo 
  • cheese quesadillas 
    • (add in leftover grilled chicken, if available)
    • Brett cooks quesadillas in a cast iron, but I'm obsessed with my quesadilla maker
  • big bowl of mashed avocado (+ pepitas + cotija, if available)

Wednesday:
waffle wednesday
pancakes or waffles
+ scrambled eggs? bacon? fruit? smoothies?

Thursday:

whatever tf you want (leftover night)
  • shop my favorite leftover containers here

Friday:
snack dinner
fruit + gouda + crackers + leftover turkey lunchmeat 

Saturday:
slow cooker or something quick
takeout

Sunday:
brett grills
brett grills bratwurst (from freezer) + onions
  • grill the random chicken thigh and breast in freezer, too?
  • grab sauerkraut from fridge, mustard from pantry
  • if hotdog buns unavailable, make them
  • with roasted potatoes (explained in this post)
  • roasted green beans (explained in this post)

      • food prep:
        • prep produce for week
        • make smoothie cups, if needed
