12/16 menu plan

Monday:
meal prep monday
crockpot creamy tomato parmesan soup (from freezer)(I originally added 1c frozen corn, and I think I cooked closer to 8 hours for tender veggies)

  • shop my favorite freezer containers here

macaroni grill rosemary bread + supremed oranges + grapefruit


meal prep monday:
  • green apple juice: omit water, triple the recipe
  • make smoothie cups of pregnancy smoothie, mango + strawberry + raspberry smoothie cups, strawberry + banana + riced cauliflower + butternut squash + avocado
    • shop my favorite smoothie cups, straws, and blender here

  • slice apples, slice grapefruit
  • reheat breakfast casserole (pulled from freezer - I bake before freezing, cut casserole into "bars" like granola bars, then freeze so that we can heat up a few "bars" for breakfast)
  • assemble yogurt parfaits 
    • (yogurt + hempseeds + fruit + frozen raspberries...then add granola just before eating)
    • shop my favorite mason jars + reusable lids here

    Tuesday: 
    taco-ish tuesday
    grab chuy's refried beans

    bake: tbd (PSA: we keep our cookies in the freezer so that 1) we don't have to eat a boatload of cookies by ourselves in a week and 2) Brett likes to have something sweet at night, and this way he has an assortment to choose from)

    Wednesday:
    chicken/fish + vegetables
    chicken nuggets (trying to eat through our freezer)
    roasted green beans (olive oil + trader joe's onion salt, 400 degrees until caramelized and shriveled)

    Thursday:
    sandwiches or leftovers
    brett's gone this week, so lots of smoothies, scrambled eggs, and/or toast (pb + banana, cream cheese + everything but bagel seasoning) are all fair game

    Friday:
    snack dinner or something quick
    oatmeal pancakes (no recipe linked - mom's recipe)
    smoothie + leftover fruit

    Saturday:
    pizza or pasta + movie
    brett's gone - smoothie + roasted green beans for haley

    Sunday:
    quick, slow cooker, or instant pot
    risotto (omit mushrooms, add in grilled chicken and/or roasted veggies below)
    + roasted green beans (olive oil + tj's onion salt, 400 degrees until shriveled and caramelized)
