sunday: grill and chill

- roasted asparagus + grilled corn on the cob
- twice baked potato casserole bc im trashy
- (except i omit the sour cream, the chives, the garlic powder, and sometimes the bacon - and i mix in a little bit of cream cheese instead. bc i'm a purist. who also hates sour cream.)
- copycat olive garden salad
- brett loves his grill, his smoker, and his prep table (see other grill and chill favorites here)
- when the weather is yucky, we use (and love!) our cast iron grill pan indoors

make food for me (and KK)

- make a batch of beans and/or rice/grains, if needed
- KK and I LOVE rice and beans for breakfast/lunch!

- freeze leftovers, or double the batch and freeze half
- make eggs for the week, if needed
- like my trashy tater tot baked omelette, these egg cups, this sheet pan omelette, or whatever
- or make hardboiled eggs using this method
- make smoothie cups and/or yogurt parfaits, if needed

- i love to do some oven roasted bacon
- I love my oven rack and baking sheets for baking bacon
- we also love our tomato knife + our panini press
tuesday:
tamales + mashed avo + queso
- our halloween tradition is to order tamales from this restaurant to be delivered to our door (they ship nationwide) - and we order extraaa to keep in the freezer as a quick dinner in the coming months (and to make the shipping costs worth it) - i wrote a whole instagram post on this here if you'd like to know more!

wednesday:
meatballs + tortellini + pasta sauce
- (i add a touch of half and half to the pasta sauce bc i like it an ooch creamy)
leftover copycat olive garden salad
thursday:
with macaroni and cheese, those frozen Trader Joe's carrots in the freezer, and leftover fruit
or use anything leftover from sunday?
friday: fajita friday or leftovers or something from the freezer
