wednesday:
leftovers
thursday:
slow cooker chicken stroganoff + brown rice
- I don't cube the chicken - I just shred it once it's cooked
- I use butter
- I mix cooked brown rice in at the end to make a creamy chicken and rice situation SO GOOD
- I love my rice cooker + my favorite slow cooker
roasted broccoli + roasted cauliflower
- could do leftover biscuits + leftover bacon + life changing soft scrambled eggs
(could grab american cheese in fridge to make breakfast sandwiches)

- also, on fridays I menu plan + order groceries. I try to post my step-by-step each week in my instagram stories if you want to see how I menu plan, but I have a highlight of me talking through my process in my "how I menu plan" highlight, if you prefer that.
- I also wrote a blogpost about how I menu plan.
- see this quick instagram post on my friday routines here.
- see this blogpost for a list of all our routines, if you'd love some ideas.
saturday: snack dinner saturday
- finger foods, apps, cheese + crackers, various produce*, roasted veggies, dips, frozen chicken nuggets, anything goes - as long as it feels like a break from cooking
- *I'm a relatively picky eater, so I use this time to try produce I haven't necessarily liked before + experiment with different ways to cook/eat said produce - serving a new food alongside, say, cheese and crackers makes it less threatening to me
- see my "snack dinner" highlight on my Instagram for more posts
- aaaand this article in favor of snack dinner (+ ideas)
- my favorite place to learn cheese plates is this instagram account or her book
- our wedding anniversary tradition is to subscribe to a cheese of the month club - a nod to our dating days and a way to celebrate all year
