5/27 menu plan

Monday:
memorial day
brett grills ribs
creamy skillet macaroni and cheese
green beans

  • bake: thin and crispy oatmeal cookies (PSA: we keep our cookies in the freezer so that 1) we don't have to eat a boatload of cookies by ourselves in a week and 2) Brett likes to have something sweet at night, and this way he has an assortment to choose from)

Tuesday:
chicken caesar salad wraps (use bottled dressing)
(also buy french bread + farmers market tomatoes for chicken sandwiches with leftover rotisserie chicken like how juju used to make)
waffle fries + fruit

Wednesday:
leftovers

Thursday:
dump and start fettucine alfredo (instant pot recipe)
leftover green beans

make for when brett is gone: loaded baked potato soup (double cheese - I used 2 c sharp cheddar, omit onions) (also, to bake potatoes, I put them in a cold oven, turn oven to 425, then take them out after an hour -- for some reason when I followed her directions, they wouldn't be cooked all the way sometimes)

Friday-Sunday: Brett gone
