brett's working out of town starting monday, so consider this a week of easyyyy dinners that clean out what we already have on hand
here's my daily rhythm. the best thing I ever did was create a loooooose daily rhythm to create some consistency in my (and KK's!) days - the biggest breakthrough was I made the schedule in such a way that I can maintain it whether or not Brett is home, whether or not brett is working, and whether or not I have anything on the schedule for HWD. it was lifechanging.
sunday: grill and chill
- read all the ways our weekly ritual of grill and chill helps us here
- brett grills steak for mother's dayyyy
- twice baked potatoes + roasted veggies
- salad + ranch dressing
- i love my produce keeper and my salad dressing container
- my favorite cheesecake bars
- brett loves his grill, his smoker, and his prep table (see other grill and chill favorites here)

cut or supreme citrus
make food for me (and KK)
- *I adapt all these things for KK if need be if it's something we will share

- make a batch of this oatmeal for the week, if needed
- or make a batch of baked oatmeal for the week - like this! (I learned I love to eat it warm with milk or greek yogurt YUM)
- or make fruity baked oatmeal cups for KK - I'll sometimes change out the fruit, double the recipe, and freeze leftovers. you're welcome, future haley!
- make a batch of beans and/or rice/grains, if needed
- KK and I LOVE rice and beans for breakfast/lunch!
- make a batch of waffles, pancakes, or muffins, if needed
- (or make a batch of sheet pan pancakes, like these or these)
- freeze leftovers, or double the batch and freeze half
- make eggs for the week, if needed
- like my trashy tater tot baked omelette
- or make these egg cups
- or make sheet pan omelette for us + KK for the week
- or make hardboiled eggs using this method for KK + Brett this week
- make smoothie cups and/or yogurt parfaits, if needed

- we love our panini press for good grilled cheese + good toasty sandwiches

- (but omit chicken and increase veggies - i'm feeling a noodle veggie soup)
- from freezer - in these container
- I omit sherry out of personal preference...and because we never have it
- i use PETITE diced tomatoes
- I like to add arborio rice like how this lady does in her tomato soup

tuesday:
cheese quesadillas + big pile of mashed avocado
or grab that leftover grilled chicken in the freezer for chicken and cheese quesadillas?

leftover salad + plenty of ranch dressing
cut up pieces of goooood chicken tenders on top
i swear it's good

canned green beans (let's try cooking them like this)
with leftover twice baked potatoes? or fruit?

friday: fajita friday or leftovers
