- I use the tiniesttttt pieces of frozen broccoli possible, just because I hateeee huge chunks of broccoli in my soup. i may even bust out the immersion blender for a few whirls
- i omit the thyme out of personal preference

- love serving it with brown rice (I love my rice cooker) or cornbread (I love to freeze cornbread muffins using this batter)

thursday:
- grilled cheese (use good french bread and gruyere cheese)
- we love our panini press for good grilled cheese + good toasty sandwiches
- I omit sherry out of personal preference...and because we never have it
- i use PETITE diced tomatoes
- I like to add arborio rice like how this lady does in her tomato soup
- freeze leftovers in these containers
